How do I schedule my OSCC-SJD certification exam?

Follow these steps to schedule your OSCC-SJD exam:

  1. Log in to your OffSec Learning platform account.
  2. Click "Explore" at the top left of your control panel.
  3. Select "Courses" and choose "SJD-100" from the course list.
  4. Go to the "Exam" tab.
  5. Locate your unscheduled exam attempt in the Certification Exams section and click on it.
  6. Check the timezone in the upper-right corner of the calendar and adjust if needed.
  7. Choose your preferred available time slot and click "Confirm".
  8. A confirmation modal will display your exam details, and you will receive a confirmation email.

How do I take the OSCC-SJD certification exam?

To begin your exam, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your OffSec Learning platform account 15 minutes before your scheduled exam time.
  2. Navigate to the SJD-100 Exam tab and click on your scheduled exam attempt.
  3. Follow the verification process when prompted.
  4. Click "Open The Proctoring Solution" to start your proctoring session (this will open in a new tab).
  5. Log in using your OSID and MD5 (detailed instructions can be found here).
  6. Complete the pre-exam verification with your proctor.
  7. Once verified, go to your OSCC-SJD Exam dashboard in your OffSec Learning account to begin the exam.
    ⚠️ Important: Keep the proctoring tool open throughout your exam.
  8. Carefully read all instructions before clicking "Next" to proceed.

How do I end and submit my exam?

You may end your exam at any time by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Next Steps" section at the end of the question list.
  2. Click the "Submit Exam" button.

🔹 Note: Once submitted, you cannot go back and edit your answers.
🔹 Your exam results will be displayed immediately after submission.

 

Which resources I can use during my active exam?

Yes, the exams are built to be practical in nature so we are not prohibiting the use of the Course material during the exam.

 

Can I navigate to other pages in the Learning Library during the exam?

Yes, you can navigate to other pages in the Learning Library while taking the exam:

  • Click "Close Exam" (top-right corner) to exit the exam page.
  • Closing the exam does NOT pause the timer or submit your answers.
  • You can navigate back to the page once you’re ready to continue with the exam labs.

 

Which resources I can use during my active exam?

OSCC-SJD exam is an open book exam, meaning you are permitted to use your notes, online resources (Except for AI chatbots and LLMs with direct prompt access), the OffSec Learning Platform, and similar materials. However, all your activities must be conducted on the host machine where the proctoring application is running, as the proctor will monitor your session.


Please keep in mind that you should not discuss anything about exam in any online resources. Discussing any information about exam and asking for hints on online forums or applications such as Discord is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of our academic policy. I passed my exam! How can I claim my certificate?

To claim your OSCC-SJD certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the OffSec Learning Library.
  2. Click "Achievements" in the left navigation menu.
  3. Under the "Certifications" section, click on the OSCC-SJD tile.
  4. You will be redirected to Accredible where you can view, download, or share your digital credentials.

Can I retake the exam if I pass?

No, once you pass the exam, you cannot reattempt the exam.

 

How many OSCC-SJDs are there? What is the pass/fail rate?

We do not release the number of people that hold our certifications or the success rate of completion for them. The exam-taking experience and perceived difficulty is different for everyone and we don't want to needlessly discourage or encourage learners with numbers based on success or failure.
