Learners taking the Advanced macOS Control Bypasses (EXP-312) course are recommended to have the following prerequisite skills before starting the course:

• C programming knowledge
• Normal user experience with macOS
• Basic familiarity with 64-bit assembly and debugging
• Understanding of basic exploitation concepts

While Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PEN-200) is not a prerequisite, the exploit development sections will provide a strong foundation for the learner.

Hardware requirements:

For labs completed after December 2, 2024, learners will have to use their own M1 machines with at least 1TB SSD in order to complete the labs.
