In 2021, we launched the OffSec Learning Library (OLL) and we've been working on migrating all of our Alumni over to the new portal.
Any learners who registered and started their course before we launched the OLL, were studying what we now refer to as the Legacy system.
If you're an alumni and no longer have access to your original personalized purchase link to the Legacy system or are unsure whether your account has been migrated or not, please Submit a request and our team will be happy to assist.
In order to try and clear up some confusion, as parts of the Legacy system is still operational, we'll try to explain the difference between our two systems.
Legacy System:
While we're transitioning to the OffSec Learning Library, we still allow learners to register via the Legacy system in order to purchase our Course & Cert Exam Bundle or Learn subscriptions.
However, all new registrations will automatically be migrated over to the OLL after successful payment and verification.
Alumni who haven't been migrated yet and make a new purchase using their purchase link (with the exception of certification attempts) will also automatically be migrated to the OLL upon successful payment.
Once a file has been migrated, an email containing instructions on how to setup the OLL account will be sent via email.
Student Access:
Alumni that are still studying in the Legacy system were provided with VPN credentials, downloadable course materials, exam scheduling link and access to their control panel via email.
They do not have online access to the labs or their course materials.
All exam challenges (with the exceptions of Assessments) are also currently being hosted in the Legacy system. Since all exams are in the same environment, all of our learners will have to go through the same process when attempting the exam, regardless of which environment they are studying in.
OffSec Learning Library:
New Learners can register directly to our OffSec Learning Library in order to get online access to our products.
The OLL provides new ways for our users to discover and consume our content. Learners will have online access to their purchased products (including control panel, course materials, labs, exercises, etc.).
