It’s a fast, flexible way to understand where your skills stand and what to focus on next.
These assessments will only be accessible to all OffSec active Learn Subscribers.

Where can I find these baseline assessments on the platform?
They are accessible through the Learning Paths library. You may go through these steps:
- Login to your OffSec Learning platform account.
- Navigate to the Explore button.
- Select ‘Learning Content’.

Do these baseline assessments count toward course progress or certification?
No. These are standalone and not linked to any course, module, or certification path. They are intended solely for self-evaluation and baseline testing.
Can organizations use these baseline assessments for team evaluations?
Yes. These assessments provide valuable insights into employee or team readiness and can help drive data-informed training decisions.
How can I attempt a baseline assessment?
To take a baseline assessment, follow these steps:
- Go to the Baseline Assessments page.
- Click on ‘Assessments’.
- Select ‘create new assessment’.
- Find the assessment you created with the status Ready and click on it.
- Carefully read the instructions provided.
- Click Start Assessment to begin.
How long do I have to complete a baseline assessment?
You will have 15 minutes to complete the baseline assessment from the moment you click the Start assessment button. Once your assessment has started you will see a timer at the bottom of your screen.
Can I end my baseline assessment early?
Yes, you may end your assessment at any time once you are done. To do so, scroll to the Next Steps section at the end of the question list and click Submit Assessment.
Please note that once you submit the assessment, you will no longer be able to edit any of your answers. Your results will be displayed immediately after submission.
Are retake options available for these baseline assessments?
Yes. As long as your Learn subscription remains active, you may retake the baseline assessment as many times as needed until you pass. There is no cooling-off period between attempts.
Once I've passed, can I retake a baseline assessment?
No, learners cannot re-attempt assessments they have passed in the past.
Is there a badge that I can claim, after passing the baseline assessment?
There is no badge for passing the baseline assessment. Instead, you will receive a congratulations message upon successful completion.
