What is OffSec Live?
OffSec Live is a streaming service that is hosted on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/offsecofficial).
The purpose of OffSec Live is to demonstrate a variety of lessons to educate the general public about offensive and defensive aspects in cyber security.
This is an excellent opportunity for people to engage with our streamers to learn more about the lessons, tips, and resources that they share during these streams.
Who is this designed for, and how much will this cost?
OffSec Live’s weekly streaming is FREE to the general public providing a valuable opportunity for attendees to join the conversations with our content developers and connect with others to gain preparedness for your career in cybersecurity. Currently, enrolled students, tech professionals, and those new to the industry will benefit from the streams.
Who will be leading the sessions?
OffSec Academy and content developers will lead OffSec Live course-related sessions. OffSec staff members will lead non-course-related sessions.
What is the OffSec Live schedule?
The OffSec Live sessions will consist of bi-weekly interactive presentations on Twitch at 12 PM Eastern. Box Walkthroughs stream on the first Friday of the month at 3 pm Eastern.
How do I access OffSec Live?
Live streams air on the official Twitch channel for OffSec: https://www.twitch.tv/offsecofficial.
Are the webinars recorded?
Video recordings are available on Twitch for up to 14 days and will be added on Youtube for Offensive Security Training.
How do I register for OffSec Live Twitch streaming sessions?
Registration is not required for access to OffSec Live streaming services on Twitch.
May I record the OffSec Live streaming session for personal use or share with others?
No, these sessions are for live-streaming purposes only. The streaming session may be recorded and distributed solely by OffSec. Any type of recording that is publicly distributed or shared without our knowledge is a violation of our academic policy.
