Regardless of the status of the tournament (In progress, Closed etc) the Admins and the participants will be able to view the Leaderboard to see the progress and scores of the tournament.

How does scoring work?
The total points of the tournament is 750 points. The blue team(s) starts with the total tournament points. Red team(s) starts with 0 and they gain points as they successfully attack machines.
- Only attackers can gain points
- Defenders need to protect their points
As they successfully attack machines, the red team participants will have individual scores. Since the entire team loses points when an exploited machine's flag is submitted, the defending (blue) team will "share" the score.
To check the points distribution, check the leaderboard available for the tournament.
If there are 2 or more BLUE (Defend) teams then they will be merged under ONE hexagon called Defenders.
If there are 2 or more RED (Attack) then they will be merged under the same hexagon.
How to use the leaderboard?
The leaderboard will show the top 3 teams of a tournament. If your tournament has more than 3 teams, you can see all the teams' progress below the highlights section.
To find the leaderboard:
- Go to the “Tournaments” list view
- Select the tournament for which you wish to see the leaderboard
- You will land on the “Tournament Overview” where you can see the “Leaderboard” tab next to Network’s tab.
If the tournament is yet to be launched, there will be no progress/activity since the tournament has not started yet.
Once the tournament has started, you will be able to see the progress of each team displayed based on their points.
You can also view the individual’s scores below the Leaderboard Highlight. Please note, the blue team (Defenders team) does not have a drop-down since at the moment, the defenders team points are available at a team level only and not via individual points.
- For Attackers teams the points are shown at a participant level and at a team level
- For Defenders teams the points are shown only at a team level
Please note that the BLUE TEAM or DEFENDER team already has points and 750 is the total points for all the machines. Once the tournament starts, the leaderboard will show the total points for the blue team and will be decreasing once the RED TEAM or ATTACKERS submits correct flag.
Where can I find the Mini Leaderboard?
On the top right, you can see the “Open Mini Leaderboard” button which will only appear if you are under “Team Details, Instructions and Network’s” tab and if you switch to the “Tournament’s list” view as well.
If you need it, you have the option to open the Leaderboard in “Full Screen”. Under the “Leaderboard” tab, there is also an option to “Open in full-screen” which shows the leaderboard highlight, overall points, tournament duration, date and the number of remaining machines to be compromised.
Will the participants know the value of the machine that’s being worked on?
At the moment, participants will only know the value once the flag is submitted.
