The Clipboard is a feature designed as a shared clipboard between Kali Linux and your local machine when direct copy/paste between your local machine and in-browser Kali is unavailable or restricted by your browser. This feature can be used to manage your copy and paste actions, both to and from the Kali terminal.
FROM Kali
- Write content in the Kali terminal
- Copy the content
- Open the More drop-down menu from the upper toolbar, and select Clipboard
- The Clipboard automatically opens with the current state of your clipboard (copied content)
- Copy the content from the Clipboard, and paste the content to your local machine
TO Kali
- Write content in your local machine, etc. and copy the content
- Open the More drop-down menu from the upper toolbar in your in-browser Kali, and select Clipboard
- After the Clipboard automatically opens, paste your content in the Clipboard and press Paste to Kali to populate the Kali clipboard
- Open the Kali terminal, and paste the content from the Kali clipboard to Kali
