The Talent Finder is a listing of learners who have opted in to share their profiles publicly. These profiles are great for learners who want to use their OffSec credentials and successes to grow their careers. And, OffSec Enterprise customers with active Learn Enterprise subscription licenses and Flex accounts can search these profiles to find OffSec-skilled talent to fill their roles, without the hassle of recruiters and public job postings.
Understanding Profile Visibility for OffSec Talent Finder
By default, all learner profiles are private. Whether you're an individual learner or part of a team, your profile will not be included in Talent Finder unless you choose to enable visibility.
How learners can set their profile visibility for OffSec Talent Finder
As an active OffSec learner or a credential holder, you can set your profile to be searchable via the OffSec Talent Finder by following these steps:
- Log in to your OffSec Learning Platform account.
- Navigate to your Profile Settings section by clicking on the dropdown menu beside your username.
- You can find the Talent Finder visibility setting located just below the address section.
- Check the box labeled, ‘I want to be included in the Talent Finder search results’. You can leave it unchecked if you prefer to keep your profile hidden.
- Click ‘Save’ to save your preference.

What Information Is Shared When You Opt In
If you choose to make your profile public in Talent Finder, the following information will be visible to OffSec Enterprise customers only, and only through our platform:
- Name
- Location (shown at a general level, such as country)
- Profile Picture

- OffSec Certifications (Please make sure to claim and generate your certificates first on the Achievements page as only claimed certificates will be displayed in the Talent Finder.)
- Earned Badges and Pins
- Work availability and arrangements

- Stored securely in accordance with security protocols
- Only visible to verified active Enterprise customers within the OffSec Learning platform
- You’re in control – you can update or revoke your visibility at any time by going to the your Profile Settings.
How enterprise admins can adjust their team members profile visibility for OffSec Talent Finder
By default, learners with active access through an invite will not have their profiles available in Talent Finder. If you wish to make those profiles available, please through the following steps:
- Log in to your OffSec Learning Platform account.
- Navigate to your Admin Console from the left hand navigation.
- Click ‘Team Management’ and navigate to team setting option
- Enable the button if you allow your team member to appear in the Talent Finder.
Enabling your team’s visibility on Talent Finder means that you agree that they will become visible and may receive emails from other OffSec enterprise admins.
How Learn Enterprise Admins can search for talents?
Learn Enterprise Admins can search for certified and skilled talent using the Talent Finder feature, available within the Admin Console of the OffSec Learning platform. This is designed to help them efficiently discover and connect with learners who have chosen to make their profiles visible for potential opportunities.
To search for talent:

- Log in to the platform and navigate to the Admin Console.
- From the sidebar or top navigation, select the Talent Finder section.

Use Search, Filters, and Sorting Options
- Search Bar: Enter keywords or learner names to find specific profiles.
- Sort By: View results based on Newest, Oldest, Top Achievers, or Alphabetical order.

- Certificates – Find talent based on completed OffSec certifications.
- Badges – Narrow by earned skill badges.
- Skill Pins – Highlight learners with specific technical proficiencies.
- Location – Search by geographical location.
- Work Availability - Identify learners open to contractual, part-time, or full-time roles.
- Work Arrangement - Filter based on remote, hybrid, or on-site preferences.
- Date Certified – Focus on learners certified within specific timeframes.

The messaging tool is intended to:
- Allow enterprise admins to reach out to OffSec-certified learners about relevant job or networking opportunities.
- Enable meaningful, professional dialogue between recruiters/employers (admins) and potential candidates (learners).
- Support learner visibility while respecting their preferences.
Prohibited Use and Misconduct
To ensure the safety and well-being of our community members, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

Harassment or Unwanted Contact
- Do not send repeated, unsolicited, or aggressive messages.
- Respect an individual’s choice to not respond or disengage.
- If an individual requests not to be contacted again, their preference must be honored.

Spam or Irrelevant Messaging
- Do not use the platform to send bulk or generic recruitment messages.
- All outreach must be relevant, personalized, and job-related.
- Mass-messaging without consideration for a learner's profile or preferences is considered misuse.

Discrimination or Offensive Language
- Do not include any form of discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate language.
- All communication must reflect a professional and respectful tone at all times.

Non-English Communication
- All messages must be written in English to ensure clarity, consistency, and platform-wide accessibility.
- Learners may come from diverse backgrounds, and English is the required standard language for all messaging within Talent Finder.

- Tailor your outreach to match the learner’s skills, certifications, and work preferences.
- Avoid overly informal or overly aggressive recruiting language.

How Can Learners Edit or Manage Their Public Profile?
Learners can now showcase their skills, certifications, and professional preferences through a public-facing profile. This profile can be shared with communities, —helping you highlight your OffSec journey beyond the platform.
All profiles are private by default, and you’ll need to manually enable public visibility in your Profile Settings.
How to Make Your Profile Public
You can enable your public profile in two ways:
Option 1: From Profile Settings
- Click the dropdown menu next to your username.
- Select Profile Settings.
- Check the box labeled "I want to make my profile public."
Option 2: From My Profile
- Click the My Profile button.
- Click the Share button.
- Toggle on "Share public profile."
How to Make Your Profile Private
To disable your public profile, you can:
- Go to My Profile, click Share, and toggle off "Share public profile"; or
- Navigate to Profile Settings and uncheck the "I want to make my profile public." box.
Public Profile Link Overview
- Your public profile link is unique and permanent — it stays the same even if you disable and later re-enable your profile.
- Anyone with the link can view your profile — no login or OffSec account is required.
- If you choose to turn off public sharing, the link becomes inactive immediately and your profile will no longer be accessible.
Rest assured, your privacy is protected—no personal contact information like your email or phone number is ever displayed. The public profile includes no internal messaging or contact forms, and all shared links are secure and properly validated for safety and accuracy.
The public profile feature is entirely learner-controlled—only you can see and manage your profile visibility.
Customize Your Public Profile
Personalize your public profile by filling out optional fields available under Profile Settings> Professional Information. These fields help showcase your professional identity and preferences:
- Bio – A brief introduction (up to 500 characters)
- Job Title – Your current or desired role
- Work Availability – Full-time, Part-time, or Contract
- Work Arrangement – Remote, Hybrid, or On-site
- Social Media Links – Add your LinkedIn, GitHub, GitLab, X (formerly Twitter), or Instagram profiles
