The OffSec Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is one option to maintain an OffSec certification before it expires.
How does the CPE program Work?
Learners need to complete 120 CPE credits over three consecutive years after earning the certification and pay an Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) of $135 to maintain certification. CPE credits can be earned by learning with OffSec and/or submitting external CPE credits.
CPE Credits with OffSec:
In addition to the AMF, OffSec will offer curated content for purchase that will qualify for CPE credits.
External CPE credits:
External CPE credits can be earned in a variety of ways, such as technical presentations at industry conferences (e.g., Black Hat, DEF CON), published research findings, and hands-on learnings in other platforms covering the required body of knowledge. Stay tuned for more detailed guidelines.
What is the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) for the CPE program?
The annual maintenance fee for the OffSec CPE program covers the administrative operations for maintaining all the expiring certifications and is $135. The AMF will be available for purchase in the “Buy More” section of the OffSec platform in 2025.
