What is OSAI+: Advanced AI Red Teaming?

OSAI+: Advanced AI Red Teaming (AI-300) is a modular, self-paced course designed to equip cybersecurity professionals and AI engineers with offensive skills to assess and exploit AI-integrated systems.

The course concludes with a realistic red team exam that simulates real-world attacks on AI environments.

What are the prerequisites for OSAI: Advanced AI Red Teaming?

Advanced AI Red Teaming is an advanced-level course designed for experienced cybersecurity practitioners, red teamers and AI professionals transitioning into offensive security roles. 

Learners should have solid cybersecurity fundamentals and a basic familiarity with AI systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs).

How can I enroll in the OSAI course once available?

The course will be available via Course and Cert Exam Bundle, Learn One and Learn Enterprise Subscription starting March 31, 2026 via the following options:

How many modules does the AI-300 course have?

The course includes a total of 11 modules.

Can I download the AI-300 course materials?

Yes. Only the PDF version of the AI-300 course materials will be available for download soon.

Are video versions included in the AI-300 course materials, and can they be downloaded?

AI-300 course materials will include downloadable PDFs only. 

To provide learners with a more effective and streamlined experience, we are transitioning from long-form course videos to shorter, bite-sized segments. These focused videos are placed exactly where they're needed, making it easier to access key concepts quickly and revisit them as needed. This approach improves navigation, reduces time spent searching for specific content, and enhances visual clarity for the concepts being taught.

Do I need to connect to the VPN to access the AI-300 course, or can I use in-browser access?

You will need to connect to the VPN to access the AI-300 course. In-browser access is temporarily unavailable while enhancements are being made to further improve the experience.

Will AI-300 be available in Learn Unlimited at launch?

No. AI-300 will not be available in Learn Unlimited at launch. Learn Unlimited includes access to the courses that were available at the time of purchase, helping provide a clear and consistent subscription experience for learners. As Learn Unlimited was retired in January, no new course additions will be made to that subscription.

Does the OSAI course include a certification?

Yes. Learners who successfully pass the exam will earn the OffSec AI Red Teamer (OSAI) certification.

Will the OSAI certification expire?

Learners who pass the OSAI+ exam will earn both the OSAI and OSAI+ certifications.

  • The OSAI certification does not expire.

  • The OSAI+ designation, however, expires three (3) years from issuance.

    During that three-year period, learners will have the opportunity to maintain the “+” designation by completing one of three continuing education paths. This gives learners a way to keep their designation current while continuing to demonstrate ongoing skill development.

Can I purchase a lab extension?

If you are enrolled in OSAI through the Course & Cert Bundle, you are eligible to purchase lab extensions in 30-day increments.

Will AI-300 include Challenge Labs?

AI-300 will include Challenge Labs and will be made available in a future release.

How do I get CPE points for AI-300?

If you have passed your OSAI+ exam, you may qualify for 40 CPE points, which you must submit yourself via the ISC² members site.

If you have not passed the exam or opted not to take it, you must submit 80% correct topic lab solutions for each topic in your portal and request a formal completion letter by sending an email to "orders AT offsec DOT com".

:trophy: AI-300 Course Leaderboard

As part of OffSec's new Gamification initiative, learners enrolled in AI-300 can now earn XP (Experience Points) by completing course questions. XP is tracked and displayed on the course leaderboard, allowing you to see how you rank against fellow learners!

Where to find it? 

  1. Log in to your account 
  2. Under the “Explore page” you may select the AI-300 course.

  3. Once you select the AI-300 course, you will land on the course’s page where Leaderboard is located. 

:zap: How XP is Earned

Points are awarded for every question you answer correctly throughout the AI-300 modules. The number of points earned depends on the question type:

• Open Text Question — 5 XP

• AI Grader Question — 10 XP

• OBG / Cloud Grader Question — 15 XP

• XP is awarded upon correct submission — every question in every module counts

• The leaderboard reflects your cumulative XP across all AI-300 modules

• Higher-effort question types (such as OBG/Cloud graders) reward more XP, reflecting the deeper skill they assess

• XP values may evolve over time as the Gamification system matures

:bulb: Note: This leaderboard is specific to AI-300 and is separate from the platform-wide Account Level XP system.
