UGC Grimoire Submission Promotion — 2’s a Charm (50% Incentive)

This page explains how the 2’s a Charm promotion works, how payouts are calculated, and what it means for your regular author rewards.

What is the 2’s a Charm promotion?

2’s a Charm is a limited-time incentive designed to reward authors who submit and get approved on multiple UGC Grimoire submissions. For every 2 approved Grimoire submissions, you unlock a 50% bonus on both submissions in that pair.

In short, every completed pair earns more than the standard bounty—making it a simple way to boost your rewards while contributing more approved content.

How It Works

Every approved Grimoire submission earns a normal base payout. That’s your floor — you always get at least that.

Think of it like a buy-one-get-one deal, but in reverse. Each approved Grimoire submission pays you normal bounty amount by default.

The moment a second submission gets approved, something happens to both of them: each one gets upgraded from $500 to $750. Not just the new one, but both.

Then the cycle resets. Your third approval waits at $500 again. Fourth comes in, they pair up, both jump to $750. And so on.

How Pairs Form 

Submissions are paired in the order they are approved — first in, first paired. Here’s what your earnings look like at each stage for weekly submission/approvals (samples are using a base pay of $500):

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my first submission get upgraded when the second is approved?

Yes. When your second submission is approved and the pair is complete, both submissions are upgraded to $750 — including the first one. This happens automatically. You don’t need to do anything.

What if I only get 1 approval in the entire month?

You still get paid the normal base payout. The bonus only applies when a pair is complete. A single approved submission is never penalized — it earns the standard rate.

What if I get 3 approvals? Does the third one earn $750?

No. With 3 approvals: submissions 1 and 2 form a pair and earn $750 each. Submission 3 earns $500 and waits. If a 4th submission is approved before the promo ends, both 3 and 4 get upgraded to $750.

What happens to an unpaired submission when the promotion ends?

It gets paid at the normal base rate. Unpaired submissions do not carry over into future promotions or earn a retroactive bonus after the promo closes.

Is there a cap on how many pairs I can complete?

No cap. Every pair earns 50% bonus per submission. Submit and get approved as many Grimoires as you can within the promo period.

Does this apply to Regular Labs as well?

No. This promotion is Grimoires only. Regular Labs submissions are paid at their standard bounty rate and are not included in the pairing logic.

I submitted before the promo started. Does it count?

It depends on when it was approved, not when it was submitted. If your submission is approved during the promotion window, it counts. If it was approved before the promo launched, it does not.

My submission was rejected. Does it affect my pairing?

Rejected submissions are not counted. Only approved submissions form pairs. You can revise and resubmit — the revised submission is treated as a new entry and qualifies if approved during the promo window.

Do I need to opt in or sign up for this promotion?

No opt-in required. If your Grimoire is approved during the promotion period, you’re automatically included.

What if I get asked to resubmit and it gets approved outside the promo period, will I still get the bonus?

No. Bonus will only apply to approved submissions within the promo period : April 6 2026 - May 8 2026

When does the bonus get paid — after the 1st or 2nd approval?

After the 2nd approval completes the pair. At that point, both submissions are upgraded and payment is processed. Your approval email will include a breakdown of the base bounty and bonus amounts.

What do I need to do to get paid?

• Watch for your approval email from the OffSec UGC team.
• Download the attached ZIP file using the password provided in the email.
• Fill in your payment details inside the form.
• Return the completed form as instructed.

Will the pair bonus be one payment or two?

This will be one payment under the second approved submission once it turns into a pair. Your approval email will confirm the breakdown.

What if my payment details change between my 1st and 2nd approval?

Contact the UGC team as soon as possible to update your details before the pair payout is processed.

Does the Tiered Author Rewards Program apply during this promotion?

No. The Tiered Author Rewards Program is paused for Grimoire submissions that qualify under this promotion. The two bonuses cannot apply to the same submission — this is a firm program policy.

Will I lose my tier status or progress during the promo?

No. Your author tier is unaffected. The Tiered Rewards Program simply does not apply to promo-qualifying Grimoire submissions during this period. It resumes normally once the promotion ends.

Is the 2’s a Charm bonus better than the Tiered Program?

It depends on your tier and submission volume. For most authors completing 2+ Grimoire pairs within the month, the 50% promo bonus ($250 extra per submission) is very competitive.
