The minimum age to enroll in any of our courses and exams is 18 years old. Learners who are 16 or 17 may register for most OffSec products if they complete a strict application process, which includes submitting a formal request and providing all required documentation.
However, please note that we do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to take the EXP-401 course. This is to ensure that learners have the appropriate level of maturity and experience for this advanced content.
If you are between 16 and 18 years old and wish to register for other eligible OffSec products, please submit a request — our team will guide you through the next steps and provide an application form that must be completed and signed by your parent(s) or legal guardian.
If you are under 16, we’re not able to accept a registration request at this time. You’re welcome to apply in the future once you meet the age requirement.
Learners who attempt to register without OffSec’s approval will have their accounts suspended. To reactivate an account, the learner will need to complete the proper vetting process and provide all required documentation. If an unauthorized underage learner attempts to take an exam, the exam will be canceled and the account will remain suspended until the registration process is properly completed (if eligible).
Important: Any lost lab time or canceled exam attempts that result from not following OffSec’s registration policy will not be refunded or reinstated. If you wish to retake an exam or regain lab access after reactivation, you will need to repurchase the product(s) at full price through your Buy More page.
