If you are registering with an organization's domain, it is possible the organization might be blocking these types of emails at the server level. Please check with the organization's IT department to determine if they are.
You can request the activation email to be resent by logging into your account. Once you attempt to login, if your account is inactive, you will receive an email to activate it.
