By registering and participating in The Gauntlet (the “Event”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Participation in The Gauntlet is open to all individuals with a valid OffSec account.
• The legal terms applicable to  your access to the OffSec products and services also govern your participation in the Event.
• Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
• Employees of OffSec may participate but may not be eligible to receive prizes, at OffSec’s sole discretion.
• Participants in The Gauntlet beta testing session cannot participate or be eligible to receive prizes in the official competition.
• Void where prohibited by law.
• Due to legal restrictions, residents of certain countries (e.g. Italy) may be ineligible to participate in prize-based portions of The Gauntlet.

2. Entry

• Entry into The Gauntlet is free of charge.
• Participants must register using their OffSec account credentials.
• By entering, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable OffSec rules and policies.

3. Leaderboard & Prize Allocation

• Prizes will be awarded based on performance in challenges, including First PWN (being the first participant to successfully complete and submit a valid solution for a challenge).
• Leaderboards will determine ranking, with higher-ranked participants more likely to win prizes.
• In the event of a tie, OffSec reserves the right to determine prize allocation at its discretion.
• The Top 3 overall winners will be determined based on the rankings decided by total points and submission times. Additional prizes will be awarded to top-ranking participants on the leaderboard. Final leaderboard position is based on:
  • Points earned per challenge
  • Speed of correct submissions (earlier submissions rank higher in the case of ties)
• Higher difficulty labs yield more points/tickets:
  • Easy: Total Lab Points – 40 | First PWN Bonus – 4
  • Medium: Total Lab Points – 60 | First PWN Bonus – 6
  • Hard: Total Lab Points – 80 | First PWN Bonus – 8
  • Insane: Total Lab Points – 100 | First PWN Bonus – 10
• OffSec will verify and finalize winners after the final challenge closes. Only valid submissions are eligible.
• All prize winners will be contacted via the email address associated with their OffSec account.

4. Prizes

• Winners will be drawn on December 5, 2025, and contacted via the email registered with OffSec on December 16th, 2025.
• No claims will be entertained after the Prize Claim Deadline of January 16, 2026.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any other alternatives.
• OffSec will make reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to winners within a reasonable timeframe. Domestic shipping may take up to 12 business days; international shipping may take up to 30 days.
• Any expiry date associated with a prize is final and non-negotiable. It is the responsibility of the winner to redeem their prize before the expiry date.
• If a prize cannot be fulfilled due to stock limitations, shipping restrictions, or other logistical constraints, OffSec reserves the right to substitute the prize with a gift card or alternative of equal or greater value.
• If a prize is unclaimed, a winner cannot be contacted, or a winner is found ineligible, OffSec has the right to withdraw the prize.
• Prizes will be fulfilled by OffSec’s partner: Goody Technologies, Inc. (“Goody”).
• OffSec is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. Issues relating to product faults or delivery of Goody products should be directed to Goody’s support team.
• Any individual at the delivery address who accepts a delivery is presumed to be authorised to receive it on behalf of the intended recipient.
• If a prize winner already holds an active OffSec subscription, OffSec may, at its discretion, extend their existing subscription.

5. Data Use & Third-Party Involvement

• You agree that your name or other identifiers may be posted on the Leaderboard and shared with other participants.
• Information will be shared with Goody for the purpose of prize distribution.
• By participating, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, processing, and transfer of personal data as described herein.
• You authorise OffSec and its third-party partners to receive, possess, use, retain, and transfer personal data, in electronic or other forms, to administer and manage participation in The Gauntlet, including any necessary data transfer for prize fulfillment.
• If requested, winners must provide their full name, shipping address, and email address, which will be shared with third parties to enable fulfillment.

6. Rules & Conduct

• Participants must conduct themselves fairly and in good faith.
• Any attempts to cheat, manipulate results, or break the Event rules will result in immediate elimination from The Gauntlet and disqualification from prize eligibility.
• OffSec reserves the right to investigate and determine rule violations at its sole discretion.

7. General Conditions

• OffSec reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel The Gauntlet at any time, including altering prize structures, without prior notice.
• OffSec’s decisions regarding leaderboard results, prize allocation, and rule enforcement are final and binding.
• By participating, you grant OffSec the right to use your username and achievement status (e.g., leaderboard placement, badges earned) in communications, promotions, and marketing materials related to The Gauntlet.
• By registering, participants consent to receive event-related communications (e.g., updates, leaderboard results, support, prize instructions).

8. Liability

• OffSec is not responsible for technical failures, interruptions, or issues that may affect participation.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, OffSec shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of participation in The Gauntlet or acceptance of any prize.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By entering and participating in The Gauntlet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
