OffSec takes exam integrity and ethical conduct seriously. If someone offers to improperly help you with an OffSec certification or exam, offers to take an exam on your behalf, or if you believe an individual or group may be cheating, please report it to us.
What should I report?
Please submit a ticket as soon as possible and provide as much information as you can, such as:
- What happened or what was offered
- When the incident occurred
- The name, username, or OSID of the individual involved, if known
- Links to relevant websites, conversations, posts, or listings
- Screenshots or other supporting evidence
- Any additional information that may help us investigate
This may include situations where:
- Someone offers to assist you during an exam in a way that violates OffSec rules
- Someone offers to take an exam or complete certification requirements on your behalf
- You become aware of individuals or groups working together inappropriately during an exam
- Exam questions, solutions, reports, or other restricted exam materials are being shared
- Someone encourages you to participate in any activity that could compromise the integrity of an OffSec certification
What if someone offered unethical help to me?
Receiving an unsolicited offer does not automatically mean you have done anything wrong. Do not accept or participate in the offer, and report it to OffSec as soon as possible.
Providing the available information and cooperating with any resulting investigation helps OffSec properly assess the situation. Accepting unethical assistance or knowingly failing to disclose your involvement may result in action against your account or certification.
What happens after I report it?
OffSec will review the information and take appropriate action based on the circumstances and available evidence.
Reports are handled confidentially. To protect the confidentiality of anyone being investigated, we may not be able to provide details about the investigation or its outcome.
