• Can I take PEN-200 Part 2 without PEN-200 Part 1?

• Can I download the materials for PEN: Network Penetration Testing Essentials, PEN-200 Part 1 or PEN-200 Part 2?
• I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I take my OSCP exam?
• I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I purchase a lab extension?
• I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I purchase PEN-200 Part 2 on my own?

Can I take PEN-200 Part 2 without PEN-200 Part 1?

No, students cannot enroll in PEN-200 Part 2 without previously being enrolled in PEN-200 Part 1.

I’m enrolled in PEN-200 Part 1/Part 2, can I pause the training? 

No, once started, neither PEN-200 Part 1 or PEN-200 Part 2 can be paused under any circumstances

Can a student have an overlapping access for PEN: Network Penetration Testing Essentials, PEN-200 Part 1 or Student PEN-200 Part 2?

Yes, students who wish to take multiple courses or course parts at the same time, or start learning a new course or course part before the subscription period for their previous course has ended will be able to do so.

Can I download the materials for PEN: Network Penetration Testing Essentials, PEN-200 Part 1 or PEN-200 Part 2?

No, due to their nature, the student materials included in PEN: Network Penetration Testing Essentials, PEN-200 Part 1 or PEN-200 Part 2 are not downloadable.

I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I take my OSCP exam?

No, only students who have gone through both PEN-200 Part 1 and PEN-200 Part 2 are eligible to attempt the OSCP exam.

Once you have enrolled in PEN-200 Part 2, you will be able to purchase an exam via the Buy More option available inside your Learning Library account.

Your instructor may also purchase an OSCP exam attempt on your behalf if they wish to do so, however, they won’t be able to assign the exam license to you until after you are enrolled in PEN-200 Part 2.

I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I purchase a lab extension?

Lab extensions are only available for the full PEN-200 course, as such you will need to go through both PEN-200 Part 1 and PEN-200 Part 2 before you are able to purchase or activate a PEN-200 lab extension.

I have taken PEN-200 Part 1, can I purchase PEN-200 Part 2 on my own?

No, the PEN-200 Part 1 and PEN-200 Part 2 are only available to be purchased via our Education Partners.
