What is a product invite?

When you have been assigned with an OffSec product license by your organization admin, you should receive an invitation email with subject: Invitation for OffSec Learning Library - Product Name. The email contains details about the product assigned to you and a link to accept the invitation.

Note, the product is tied to the email address the invitation email was sent to. If you have an existing OffSec Learning Library account with a different email address, you can update your user profile with your new email address before you redeem your product or ask your admin to resend the license to the email attached to your existing account. If your existing account has the same email address, please follow the steps here.

If you are a new learner who do not have an account in the Learning Library yet, you will need to go through the steps stated in the next section.

Accepting a product invite as a new learner without an existing OffSec Learning Library account

To create and activate an account, please follow the following steps:

1. Accept your invitation by clicking the “Accept Invitation” link in the invitation email.
2. You’ll be redirected to the Sign Up/In page.
   Note: If you have an existing account on the OffSec Learning platform under a different email, please use your existing account to sign in via the Sign In link on the Sign Up page. Once you authenticate, the new email (where you received the invitation) will be linked to your existing account, granting you access to the product with the same account.
3. Once you’ve completed the registration sign up form, you’ll receive an “Activate account” email which you need to click on to verify your email address.
4. Once your email is verified, please complete your personal data by providing your personal identification information. This information is necessary for learner verification and certification purposes. Please ensure your first and last name matches your government-issued photo ID, which will be required for exam certification.
5. After saving your personal information, you will be able to choose your communication preferences. You will then land on the Library page, not your course page. To access your prefer course, navigate to the Courses list at the top of the dashboard.

Accepting a product invite with an existing OffSec Learning Library account

1. Accept your invitation by clicking the “Accept Invitation” link in the invitation email.
2. Log in to your OffSec Learning Library account.
3. Go to your Course page and start your studies.
