Products purchased via our training consultants are valid for 12 months from the moment they were issued. Within these 12 months you will be able to activate the products by sending an invitation to either yourself or your team members. Once the invitation is accepted, the access to the product will start immediately unless a different access date was selected/agreed upon before the invitation was sent.
Note, if you are inviting yourself to a product and selecting the ‘Let access start upon invitation redemption’ option, the invitation will be accepted automatically and your access will start instantly. To see the new product, please refresh your page. If you wish to start on a different date, select the ‘Set a course material access date’ option when assigning a product to yourself.
If you have purchased subscriptions with us in the past and you are now supplementing your original order by acquiring additional licenses, the added licenses will be co-termed and the 12 month validity period may be shorter. You can check how long your products are valid via your Organization Admin account.
Follow the steps below to see your available products and their expiration date:
- Log into your organization's admin account in the Offsec Training Library.
- Navigate to the 'Manage my team' page.
- Find the product you wish to learn about and click the See more details button.
The expiration date of your license(s) will be written on the End Date column.
If the End Date column is empty, your product has expired. Switch to the Expired licenses tab to see information on your expired products.
Subscriptions start running from the moment you have completed your order (unless otherwise agreed with the Sales representative), as such, we recommend logging in to your Organization Admin account and distributing the licenses as soon as possible. The invitations you issue can be accepted by the learners until the moment the subscription is scheduled to end, however, the time that elapsed between the subscription start date and the moment the learner accepted the invitation will be forfeited by the learner.
Subscriptions issued via Flex start running the moment the invitation is redeemed by the learner if the access is set to start upon invitation redemption. A start date can also be set by the admin when sending the course invitation and the selected date will be visible in the invitation email. Admins may choose a start date within the Flex validity period. Learners can redeem their invitation until one of the events described below occurs:
- the Flex fund expired
- there have been more than 12 months since the invitation was issued.
Learners can accept an invitation for an OffSec Course & Cert Exam Bundle, lab extension or exam retake purchased with Flex funds, for as long as the Flex funds are still valid. A specific start date can also be set by the admin when assigning a course bundle or a subscription so it is important to check the invitation email as the date is indicated there.
If the course bundle, lab extension or exam retake was purchased via a credit card, debit card or net terms, the invitation links will be valid for 12 months from purchase. Access to the product will start the moment the lab extension or exam retake invitation is accepted by the learner. The same applies to course bundle invitations unless a start date is selected by the admin.
Individual products (course & cert exam bundle, lab extensions, exam attempts, etc.) cannot be reassigned once the learner has gained access to them.

Learn Enterprise subscription licenses are reassignable, and reassignment can be initiated by full admins or sub-admins through their enterprise products dashboard. Please refer to the steps outlined here for guidance.
